Coins are something that i've recently started collecting in 2025.
Below is my collection so far.
The British crown was a denomination of sterling coinage worth a quarter of one pound (five shillings, or 60 (old) pence). The crown was first issued during the reign of Edward VI, as part of the coinage of the Kingdom of England.​
1673 Crown
Charles II
A nice coin with good detail. Diameter: 39mm, Mintage Weight: 30.0 g, Metal: .925 silver
1822 Crown
George IV
A very nice coin with very good detail. Surface marks in the left reverse field. SECUNDO to edge.
Diameter: 39mm, Mintage Weight: 28.3 g, Metal: .925 silver.
The British half crown was a denomination of sterling coinage worth 1⁄8 of one pound, or two shillings and six pence (abbreviated "2/6", familiarly "two and six"), or 30 pre-decimal pence. The half crown was first issued in England in 1549, in the reign of Edward VI, with a value half that of the crown coin.
